National Harm Reduction Coalition’s DOPE Project has been educating people who use drugs on how to use Naloxone/Narcan since 2003. When people who use drugs are provided adequate amounts of the affordable, life-saving medication Naloxone, it can often prevent the need for EMS, law enforcement, or medical intervention for people who are unable to utilize those services safely.
